Modern life moves quickly. Between work, responsibilities, and constant distractions, it can be difficult to find moments of peace and clarity.
Meditate With A Monk offers an opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself through authentic meditation practices taught by an experienced TheravΔda Buddhist monk.
This program is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. You do not need to be Buddhist or have previous meditation experience.

A TheravΔda Buddhist Monk
Ordained in the TheravΔda tradition and trained at Mahamevnawa Meditation Center in Sri Lanka, our monk brings warmth, patience, and years of lived practice to every session.

Do I need meditation experience?
No. This program is designed for complete beginners as well as experienced meditators.
Do I need to be Buddhist?
No. Everyone is welcome regardless of religious background, beliefs, or previous experience.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to sit comfortably.
Can I sit on a chair?
Yes. Chairs and meditation cushions are available. Please choose whichever position feels comfortable.
What if I arrive late?
You are welcome to join quietly if you arrive late. However, arriving a few minutes early helps everyone begin peacefully together.
Can I leave early?
Yes. If needed, you may leave quietly at any time.
